The fees below reflect the time required to provide comprehensive, high-quality psychiatric care. Consultation fees include clinical assessment, documentation and, where clinically appropriate, a prescription issued during the consultation.
Fees are reviewed periodically and may be updated. Any changes will apply only to future appointments.
Consultation Fees

Your consultation fee includes:
A comprehensive psychiatric assessment or review.
Discussion of diagnosis and treatment options.
A prescription issued during your consultation, where clinically appropriate.
A clinic letter summarising your consultation and treatment recommendations (with your consent, this will usually be sent to your GP).
Reasonable review of relevant referral information and clinical correspondence received before your appointment.
Additional Chargeable Services
The following services are not included within the consultation fee and may incur an additional charge.

Complex reports, court reports and medico-legal work are quoted individually and are not covered by this fee schedule.
Private Prescriptions
The cost of issuing a prescription during your consultation is included within the consultation fee.
Patients remain responsible for:
Pharmacy dispensing charges.
The cost of prescribed medication.
Prescription requests made between appointments may incur an administration fee or require a follow-up consultation if a clinical review is necessary.
Blood Tests and Investigations
Where private blood tests, ECGs, imaging or other investigations are recommended, these are arranged separately and any associated costs are payable directly to the provider.
Payment
Payment is required before your appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include:

Credit card
Bank transfer
Invoices should be paid by the due date shown. Outstanding balances may delay future appointments or prescriptions.
Cancellation Charges
Please refer to the Practice Cancellation Policy.
In summary:
Appointments cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) may be rearranged or refunded.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will normally be charged at the full consultation fee.
VAT
Medical services provided for the diagnosis and treatment of illness are generally exempt from VAT under current UK legislation.
Fee Reviews
Fees are reviewed periodically and may be updated. Any revised fees will apply only to future appointments and will be published on the Practice website.
