Clinical Background

Dr Delvi is a Consultant Perinatal & Adult Psychiatrist with over 8 years of clinical practice mainly in the NHS. She received a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Birmingham. Dr Delvi went on to complete her psychiatry training at the renowned Maudsley Hospital - an institution recognised nationally and internationally for its excellence in research and patient care. Dr Delvi holds specialist accreditation in General Adult Psychiatry with advanced expertise in perinatal mental health. She was awarded membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2020.

Alongside her private practice, Dr Delvi works as an NHS Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist in a busy community perinatal mental health service in South East London. As part of this role, she is involved in assessment and treatment of women experiencing a wide range of complex mental health conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar affective disorder, ADHD, personality disorders and birth trauma.

Dr Delvi has a strong interest in medical education and is actively involved in training and supervising medical students and resident doctors.

Dr Delvi has a thorough and collaborative clinical approach. She is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment whilst respecting each person’s individual story, values and circumstances.

Dr Delvi offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments, clear treatment planning including pre-conception counselling and on-going follow-up. She works collaboratively with your GP and other medical professionals to ensure joined-up care.

Professional Registrations

Dr Delvi is registered with the GMC (General Medical Practice) with a full license to practise. She is on the Specialist Register - General Psychiatry. Dr Delvi is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
